The car seat came in a damaged box, the box was wet. The car seat seems very sturdy and well constructed. The fabric is a nice wicking fabric and appears to be easy to clean. Solid head protectors from impact. It was light for a convertible car seat and was easy to install in my large hatchback. The car seat base was flushed or evenly elevated with my car seat. Had slight problems with extending the head protector up or down but it did move after a few tries. It extends for kids up to 65lbs which is okay but should be more considering it’s a $400 car seat. The should straps were snug and easily tightens or loosens but I found the lap/belt buckle cheap and rather small for clipping and removal. The button to release the belt buckle was differcult with one or even two hands compare to other car seat models (Graco or Evenflo). I’m not a weak person and I found it stiff to press the release button. The cup holder is nice to have, compare to similar high end car seats like Peg Perego or Britax, which doesn’t. I really like the easy clean fabric, the Air head protectors are solid and safe. How light it is to maneuver and I installed it by myself at 38 weeks pregnant. A solid, well constructed higher end car seat. It’s worth it if you have a child who will be on the smaller size as they won’t out grow the seat so fast, our 2nd son is on the smaller size he’s 3 and still wear 18-24 months clothes so this seat fits perfectly for him. I would recommend the Graco 4ever if you know your child will be a larger, faster grower and that’s what we have for our oldest.
