Is it Real... Should you buy it???
December 3, 2018
This unit model if only sold online and dose not state its wattage anywhere in/on the manual, unit or packaging. For a product like a mixer where Motor strength is the one of the biggest factor in marketing and quality you would think if it Actually had 575 watts it would be all over it (And every other kitchen aid proudly dose). Am I supposed to take a random amazon descriptions word. Well I didn't, It dose look and feel kitchen aid level quality besides the paint job, I know that because I have used many professional series in the past and own a smaller model (300 watt tilt mixer). so I was on the fence of it was a knock off. since I was on the fence I did not send it back right away instead, I messaged kitchen aid directly. They said this is model is online exclusive and this amazon link is legit and is made by kitchen aid. They also said that it is true that it has the same motor used in the other 575 watt units. so with the wording "same motor" not "a 575 watt motor" I now wonder if kitchen aid is throwing in free pans to sell units with Motors that don't pass quality testing. why do they need a special online exclusive model for the same price with free bake ware that is supposed to be identical but just has less written proof of performance. I'll be doing heavy testing and research. As of right now I would say I am still happy with my purchase. but only because I got it for half price on a cyber Monday deal. but that may even still change after testing. as of right now I would say if you also got it on sale then I don't know what you should do yet, but if your currently looking into buy this model I would say give up the free pans and the prime shipping and buy the real deal elsewhere.
