Screws and nuts fixed my Engine Splash Shield Guard from hanging down.

Every time I take my 2013 Ford Escape to have the oil changed, 1 or more screws is missing from the engine splash guard cover which causes the splash guard to hang down. The problem is the technicians who change the oil use pneumatic tools to put the splash guard back in place after they have changed the oil. The pneumatic tools have too much torque and end up stripping the plastic nuts. The screws, nuts and clips fixed my splash guard. One trick to replacing the nuts is that you have to remove screws from the front end of the car so you can pull down the plastic piece that covers the screws. There are videos on youtube that show you how to replace the nuts. One thing I'm going to do now is remove the splash guard before I take my car in to have the oil changed. Then I'll replace the splash guard when I get the vehicle home. That way I can screw the splash guard in place with torque screw drivers rather than a pneumatic tool.
