I bought this in hopes of it working with my Ender 3 Max and an alternate screw! Fortunately, it did!
I was able to install this on my Ender 3 Max in no time at all, other than some dropped screws because my hands weren't designed for such small things haha.

I bought a longer screw (500mm T8 Lead Screw (8mm Diameter,4 start)) from a local seller here in Toronto, and it works perfectly with the hardware. It came with extra hardware too which was nice, one extra long screw, short screw, and a couple extra t-nuts. A shame really because I just spent $15 to get 2 extra t-nuts that I needed, oops. (or I could have paid peanuts from an overseas company but waited a month+)

Quality is VERY good, I was very impressed, great stuff Hictop thanks for providing this! I really wish you had the larger screw available as a kit though, it would have saved me a lot of money and time in research and shipping.

After leveling the bed a lot and getting an ABL (BL Touch), this single upgrade is what finally made be able to print ABS properly. A .1mm offset from left-right with PLA and other materials is no big deal but with ABS you really need to nail down that bed leveling. The ABL will correct for that but if the arm does not move the same amount when doing the ABL and when actually printing, the correction will still be wrong from left to right. I am loving this upgrade.

Needs longer lead screw for the ender 3 MAX.

Would have preferred a written manual pdf is fine, as the video qr code didn't work and when I got to see it the guy in it is rushing I'm ok with that but beginners would constantly be rewinding.

With regards to the product itself it's fine no problems yet installed and working, bed leveling is much quicker and less z banding but tweaks needed.

Had a few issues installing this due to the fact I have an IDEX kit and Z braces installed. Not a problem with the kit, just all the other bits in the way! Once fitted it has definitely got rid of the wandering height of right hand side of the x axis. Previously you could notice the RHS 'following' the LHS driven end. Prints are now coming off looking almost as if they are moulded rather than FDM.
I have a BTT SKR board and I'm just waiting for a dedicated Z axis cable for the second stepper, although the board seems to be coping at the moment.
I'd seriously recommend this bit of kit- this and the z brace make a world of difference!

Hi I have just purchased this ender 3 Dual z axis kit and very pleased with it, Inconsistent Z layers now fixed!
Easy to follow instruction video made fitting easy. Obviously you need to relocate your power supply but a metal plate is included and when fitted, moves the supply towards the back to allow for the new Z stepper motor.

This kit worked very well on my printer, I plan on doing some tweaks in the long term that will make keeping the calibration between each side much closer, primarily getting a motherboard that supports independently driving the Z axis steppers so a BLTouch can be used to align it. All the parts are of a good quality, and everything I required was included in the kit.
