About the Author

Née à Paris, Theresa Révay étudie la littérature à la Sorbonne et publie son premier roman, L'Ombre d'une femme, La Table ronde, (1988), puis elle s'oriente vers la traduction de livres anglo-saxons et allemands. Elle a publié six romans aux Éditions Belfond, repris chez Pocket. Sa prédilection pour l'Histoire la conduit à s'intéresser aux déchirements de familles européennes confrontées aux épreuves d'un XXe siècle tumultueux. Qu'elle évoque le destin des Russes blancs dans La louve blanche et Tous les rêves du monde, ou la fin de l'Empire ottoman dans L'Autre rive du Bosphore (2013), sa documentation rigoureuse et son souffle romanesque lui permettent de s'imposer aujourd'hui comme l'une des romancières majeures de grandes fresques historiques, et d'être publiée dans de nombreux pays.
