I’m hoping I just got a defective firestick, I ordered a replacement so I’ll update my review if the new one works properly. This one has amazing picture, on our 4K TV and on our 8yr old Sony. The picture on the Sony is actually quite astounding with the firestick, considering it isn’t a 4K TV. The problem we’re having though is that it only will stream videos 50% of the time. Everytime we turn it on, the videos are choppy, and skipping, and we have to unplug it from the power and plug back in and then it works perfect. It happens every single time! Definitely not impressed. Will be returning if it’s still an issue with the replacement.

Update: I received the replacement and have decided to return it as well, and dropped it another star. Just like the first stick, it worked perfect for the first week, and then the second week it’s doing the same skipping the first one did when you first turn it on. As soon as we restart the unit, it works fine. Definitely not a wifi issue. That, combined with the disappointing Crave app, has us opting for a “fruit name” company’s TV streaming system.
