Customer Review

The seller clearly states that the model is a WD80EFAX-68LHPN0, the helium filled HDD which is way more efficient, up to 20% faster, produce less heat, and use way less power than the model I received. The WD80EFAX-68KNBN0 model is air filled and is really problematic to use in home or small office server. Do not use in a rackmount server or it will overheat, especially if you have more than 2 of those drives.

If it wasn't for the downtime required to ship back and get new drives I would have done it without a doubt in my mind.

Again, if you own a rackmount server, or if you already have you should avoid this model if you can and try to find one that is helium filled, this one is a "no-no".

WD are usually good drives, this is the only reason I didn't give it only one star.
