So much in here for ideas and philosophy, everyone should read it. His writing style is a bit over the top, hyped and arrogant or talking big. But a very interesting, smart and accomplished person with great advice.
This is a very general how-to success book. His very successful podcast and blog are full of similar information. I don't think everything in his book is very useful, so this is going to be a book I come back to for a very specific chapter. I have purchased many of his recommended books.
I've read this book a couple of times and found new understanding of some of the things which I thought I understood the first time. I haven't read it in a couple of years but need to dive into it again. Having just come off of a mini-retirement, which consisted of living on a boat in Florida and the Bahamas, I'm now looking at some ways to make money online and I'm sure there will be something new I can learn or understand better.
I liked this book not because I think it is realistic to put these practices all into place, but because I praise the philosophy and principles behind them. I think you can put some of the ideas into practice into your life and use them to change your life to the one that you want -- i.e. less "work" and more time for yourself. Do we live to work or work to live?
This book has literally changed my outlook in life. My difficulty is still the "muse" part, and can't seem to launch or engage myself properly. It is not easy. But for other things such as mini-retirements and relocating to cut living costs and other lifestyle changes, this book is the roadmap to a new outlook in life :)
This book has really good advice and pushes your boundaries on what you think is possible. I will definitely be applying the principals to my life and keeping the ideas in mind forever. Will be a read again and recommending to friends.
