This book is one of the best books I have read on CSS and building assessible website. The book describes how to create pages that load fast and scale correctly when the user chooses a larger font. Additionally, the author guides the reader on how to create a useful site even when the user disables the images and style sheets in their browser.
For those facing the annoyance of writing HTML on a regular basis, CSS has been full promise but has failed to deliver for years because many browsers will not interpret it consistently. This book gives you those hacks needed to position items on the page with CSS for all browsers. Now you can write just one set of code that will also work for PDAs and 56K dial-ups. The simplified code will make dynamic pages a snap. Say good-bye and good-riddance to spacer.gif and embedded tables.
Book was good for introduction to CSS and some basic pitfalls to avoid, but lacked any examples or mention of how to utilize in ASP. No mention of working with pesky web controls that never seem to mate well with labels.
