Bloody nonsensical drivel. Made to pander to the most common denominator of any good experience that nearly everyone can relate to in the most dull way possible. Was forced to sit through a one hour presentation of this guy, devoid of humor or point. Chicken soup for the souls is the book you are looking for.

I don't understand why this book has sold so many copies. The "author" started a blog, which other people then contributed to and then padded the content out with his own mediocre and repetitive writing, and then got a publisher on board?

Is this how books are written nowadays? This book is a quick bathroom read, don't bother. It seems to be designed for people with very short attention spans who don't bother with real books. Then again, as others have pointed out, the insipid Chicken Soup books have sold many copies. And the late Thomas Kincaid sold a lot of his "art" as well, but at least he created the works himself.

Neil Pasricha is a blogger, not a writer. There is a difference.

This title appeared as recommended book after I purchased Monk Who sold his Ferrari.I expected much more from it. I red mostly story titles, the rest I found boring with a lot of repeated material.

I bought this book thinking that it would be of the same caliber as the Chicken Soup For The Soul books. What a disappointment. Not only were most of the quips inane but the repetition of the word Awesome became absolutely annoying. Don't buy it.

I cannot believe this book is popular! A wonderful idea is completely spoiled by the author's greed. Cheap person is writing about cheap pleasures. Not simple pleasures, CHEAP.
Enjoying taking a shower in your friends' bathroom... I am sorry to say this, but this book is a load of crap.

what's the deal with all the lovers of this book? it is horribly trite. my mum tried to read it, as did one of my friends and myself. i don't want to read about how nice it is to put on warm underwear from the dryer. i know it's nice and when it happens, i'll smile to myself. but i don't smile reading about it. booooring.
