Have you ever been asked by a young child to tell them a story, but felt you just couldn't come up with something zany and memorable enough to have them ask to hear it again and again? Has your "grown-up" thinking somehow stifled your creative ability? It's time to reach for a copy of Pigs on a Bus!
Pigs on a Bus author Jonathan Harder takes us (and the pigs) on a hilarious bus ride to the moon and back with his easy, child-like imagination and storytelling ability. Co-author Alison Taylor brings the story to life with her cheerful illustrations.
Pigs on a Bus is not just an entertaining read for the kids. It reminded me of what it was like to have an unbridled imagination, and to see things through the eyes of a child. Pigs on a Bus is a fun ride for both young and old.
I love the story and the pictures are great. Woozle loves it too - she keeps asking me to read it again and again... and it's a fun enough book that I'm still able to enjoy it. (Not true of all kids books after the first two dozen times!)
