I borrowed this book off of a friend who highly recommended it.
The book reads as a very heartfelt and intimate story, detailing the life of a man so many people loved, yet didn't really know. The author does an excellent job giving insight to the behind the scenes individual, with stories and first-hand accounts from the people who knew him best.
The author weaves all the information he gathered into a story that is real, without glorifying or bashing Robin. It holds an echo of truth that runs through all the words, making it a read that is enjoyable as you don't feel like you are being taken for a wild ride of fabrication.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of Robin Williams and wants to gain more insight into the type of man he was off-screen. I will warn you though, that as you come to the end of the book, it is almost as if you lose him all over again.
