I wasn't going to write a review of this album it is just too boring and mediocre, until I got to the song "Baby It's Cold Outside." The inappropriateness of this song and it's inserted banter by Natalie Cole and James at first sounds just childish, but then... when he is encouraging her to stay when she says she has to go home to mother, is stupidly coy and inappropriate, bad enough, and then it continues with her resisting and sounding like she is playing hard-to-get it is even more inappropriate, especially coming from these two artists with their rather obvious age way beyond these immature lyrics. And then there is the line from her: "What's in this drink?" Is this the date rape Christmas album? It should be pulled from the shelves, or at least this song sound be. This is not a way we want to ever emulate, that is 'teach' that a relationship should be done or that two people should talk to each other like this.

James Taylor fans will like this cd, great music, on the mellow side, but you would expect that from James Taylor.

A great assortment of Christmas songs sung in Taylor's unique style. People who were over for Christmas often remarked on it and took note of the album. Gresat seasonal music.

A must have Christmas cd for James Taylor fans everywhere! The style of James shines throughout this cd.
Such an eclectic mix of songs with that James Taylor sound.......I have recommended friends buy this if they
are Taylor fans and if they would like to have a great Christmas cd. Very pleasing to the ears as James
Taylor's music always is! Keep it up James!!!

This album was even better than I expected - I especially love tracks 12 & 13 (Who Comes This Night, In the Bleak Midwinter), songs that are not often heard but so beautiful that I keep listening to them over and over again, even now after the holiday! All of the songs benefit from Taylor's style and creative arrangements and, of course, his sweet voice!
