Okay let me just start by saying that this series did NOT star Don Adams and Barbara Feldon but was really about their son (Played by Andy Dick) and his misadventures as a Control agent. The packaging is totally misleading when out of the entire series Don Adams appears twice in a secondary role. This is what I call misrepresentation and bothers me that the distributor would try to con faithful Get Smart fans into buying this short lived series that wasn't even well done despite Andy Dick's comedic talents. Shortly afterwards, when this series was cancelled, he went on to greener pastures with Newsradio. For my time and money Get Smart fans should just bypass this poor attempt at reviving a classic 60's TV show.

What could You Possibly Say about a classic like this one? Definitely it did not "Miss(ed) it by that much!" as you follow the strange adventures of Maxwell Smart, Agent 86, and his companion, Agent 99, through episode after hilarious episode in a five-volume set spanning all 138 episodes on 25 discs. Follow Max as he deals with an odd and intriguing list of characters from both Control, the side of Good, and Chaos ("da Bad Guys"). And who could ever forget the opening and closing credits with its never-ending series of security doors leading to a payphone? Or the Cone of Silence and the long-suffering Chief? The tongue-in-cheek humour and cast combined to make it truly a special piece of the genre and the audio commentaries and interviews as well as an illuminating Behind the Scene featurette cast more light on this great series!
