Just purchased this machine and we've brewed 10 pots so far without any of the issues some of the other users have mentioned. I did notice that the machine I received looks slightly different than the one pictured. Mine has a black lid for the water reservoir, so it's possible that the leaking/dripping issue that others were commenting on has been fixed with the newer model. I just replaced and older Black & Decker 2 to Go model that was only 8 cup. This is a vast improvement to it. I find the coffee brews hot and stays that way for hours. I take my coffee with two milk and it is nearly, but not quite, too hot to chug at first pour. The thermal carafe pours easily as well with no dripping issues. If I had to fault it, I would say that you do need to tip the pot steeply to pour out the last bit of coffee but I've not had any "infomercial-type" pouring disasters like others have stated. It is slightly awkward to fill the reservoir using the pot, but my left-handed husband has no trouble at all. I just use my faucet! Very minor issue and overall the machine works great. Knob/dial is easy to use and the water marks on the inside are very clear. White "steps" notched with the volume levels are easy to read. I noticed that was a big complaint of some, but I haven't had any issues and I'm 5'3" so height isn't a factor. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a larger capacity, mid-range machine. Nice to have hot, fresh-tasting coffee hours after it's been brewed!

I bought this coffee maker because I like the feature of the thermal carafe.I do not like burnt tasting coffee after an hour or so of coffee sitting on burner plate. This coffee always tastes fresh in this maching even after a few hours of making it.The coffee will also stay hot for at least a couple hours of making it and even if its starting to cool down you can just put your cup in the microwave for 30 seconds and its fine.No burnt taste!
It looks great and has every feature you can imagine.I am very happy with it and totally recommend it!

This coffeemaker has a few quirks but nothing you can't get used to once you figure it out. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee warm and fresher than a regular open glass carafe and that's what we like. If we want our coffee piping hot we put it in the microwave for a bit. It does pour slowly but that's because of the design of the carafe so it doesn't let air in it and keeps the coffee fresher. Once we get to the last cup of coffee we just take the lid off the carafe to pour it. You do have to be careful how you put the lid on but once you get used to it it's not a problem. We've had a couple of these and love the coffee they make. My only complaint would be that the machines don't last very long. I think the longest we've had ours was 4 years.

We have been using this machine everyday for nearly three years with no issues. The stainless steel carafe is virtually unbreakable. We use it to make tea instead of coffee and it works great. When you follow the instructions, the tea/coffee stays HOT for hours. I read both good and bad reviews before buying this unit, and I am glad I ignored the bad ones. Most of the complaints are from users who don't read or follow the manual. If you fill don't overfill it, install the lid properly and heat the carafe with hot tap water BEFORE brewing (like a thermos), you will have years of success.

Excellent product, we use to have a 10 cup in the same craft design . It pours the same as the other one, ya you have to tilt it a bit more to get the last bit out but really a non problem. We bought the one that had the grinder built it the grinder bit the dust 2 x but the coffee maker and the pot kept working. Glad we upgraded, we grind our beans in a Brun grinder. Buy this one if you want a nice cup of coffee.

We bought this machine for my in-laws, who make a lot of coffee . The machine brews a wonderful cup of coffee. It stays hot for hours and serves more coffee , being then the 10 cup ones. It was reasonable on price, being that the stores are selling it for 30$-40$ more. I would recommend this to anyone.

We are very satisfied with our purchase of the Cuisinart Brew Central Thermal Coffeemaker. The coffee stays hot for hours without being over cooked as it is a thermal pot. Anyone who purchases this unit will be very happy.

I did my research before buying this and it is a solid purchase. As a bonus, it is one of the lower machines and fits under our cabinets so we have options on where to put it.

This is a great coffee machine. The coffee stays hot in the carafe for quite a while.
The only drawback is that it is slightly difficult to read the water level inside the machine.

Great coffee maker. The timer works perfectly and has the coffee ready on time, the coffee tastes great, and it says hot for a couple of hours. What more could you ask for?
