Nice book but it is missing some key material

The methodology used provides a cute and entertaining way for people to learn the language. Many of Margarita Madrigal's ideas I use when I tutor people in Elementary Spanish. However the fact that the author failed to mention anything at all about the 2 singular forms of "you" (familiar and formal) as well as 2 plural forms. While the VOSOTROS form is primarily used only in Spain, the TU form is used everywhere Spanish is spoken. These forms also carry their own respective verb conjugations and need to be learnt since most Spanish speakers use TU in everyday speech. Not everyone is going to use USTED when addressing someone which is the formal form of you. I noticed a similar problem in Ms. Madrigal's See It and Say it in Spanish as well. The book is good, but I would recommend it more as a supplemental book after you have already enrolled in a Spanish course in high school or university. I don't think it should be relied on as your only source for learning Spanish.
