This is an exeptional album, a collection of old French songs from 30s and 40s rearanged in a variety of music stiles. Her voice and musical talent is extraordinary. The album was produced with the help of legenday Quincy Jones and John Clayton. Zaz has been one of France’s most successful international music exports, selling over 3 million copies of the her first two albums, with legions of fans in over 50 countries, from Chile to Russia, Germany to Japan. The album, a tribute to the many songs and personalities of Paris finds Zaz in the musical company of such stars and luminaries as Charles Aznavour, the bassist John Clayton, singer Nikki Yanofsky, and producer Quincy Jones. A lifelong lover of jazz, this is Zaz’s first album backed by a full big-band.

J'aime beaucoup la première chanson, "Paris sera toujours Paris", visible en clip sur YouTube. Une certaine joie de vivre et un sourire qui s'entend. Par contre la chanson avec Charles Aznavour manque un peu d'équilibre, On sent que M. Aznavour fait un effort a 90 ans pour chanter.
Album de reprises de vieilles chansons appartenant au patrimoine culturel parisien + 2 créations, dans un style très "Jazzy" années folles en collaboration avec Quincy Jones qui a produit 3 des titres de cet album décoiffant !
Le style et la voix de Zaz font revivre ces chansons.

Zaz nous offre un trésor de chansons ayant tous pour thème Paris.Le tout est présenté dans le style manouche et c`est très bon.Il y a des reprises de chansons de Leo Ferré,Charles Trenet et Aznavour entre autres.On y retrouve 3 duos avec Aznavour , Nikki Yanofsky et Thomas Dutronc.Quincy Jones a également collaboré à cet album qui est excellent.

de bonne reprises de chansons francaises reprise par zaz , avec quelques bons duo , a écouter dans la voiture si vous aimer le style .

Très belle énergie de la part de Zaz. L'album Zaz est encore meilleur.
