I have spent almost 30 nights in this hammock in all kinds of weather. (Down to -22C). I recently upgraded to an asymmetric hammock for more comfort. The hammock itself is pretty solid. I had to replace the tree hangers when i clipped one wrong and blew all the stitching.
If the tarp is properly tensioned it will shed water properly.
I am a big guy (6’ 2” and 250 lbs) the hammock fits reasonably well.
Set the system up today and noticed a couple flaws or pulls in the hammock fabric along with a split seam in the little pocket that hangs off the side of the hammock. My first impression from laying in it for five minutes is that it’s comfortable enough but could be a little wider for laying diagonally to give a flatter sleeping position. Likely not of a quality that will last regular users more than a couple seasons.
