Interesting game with no replay value and target audience confusion
January 11, 2019
This game has absolutely no replay-ability. Plan on giving it away (or selling it) once you have played through all four of the "games". It comes with 4 decks of cards inside the box. You do not shuffle any of the decks because the cards have to be played in a specific order.
The puzzles are either targeted at 8 year-olds or church ministers. They were super simple like one of these things is not like the other, or difficult like out of 4 bible stories pick which one is true and which one is false.
Each team starts with an equal number of "believer" cards that are stolen when games are won or if you call someone by something other than their character card. Once a team is down to a few cards they may as well forfeit because there is no coming back from it, especially if there are only a few puzzles left in the deck.
I thought the game would be fun but it really isn't and it most certainly is not "epic."
You can probably rip through this in about 1 or 2 hours. My one suggestion is make sure to mix up the teams between each game.
I recommend only purchasing if it drops to $10 or less.
