I received an advanced copy and chose to write a review. OMG what an emotional ride….still a bit shaken by the ending…Good writing - clever and fun in places, steamy hot sex, but also story filled with emotional depth with lots of heartfelt love and affection in the main romances, and between Band Members and Family members. Recommend having read earlier books in Found in Oblivion Series so scenes and conversations with Bandmates, Family and other cameos have more context and relevance.
Seriously hot chemistry between the three very strong main characters, and I really came to love Molly, Ethan and Luc as individuals, as well as them together, in various combinations including FMM. The good writing made me care about all of three of them and yearn for their HEA.
Interesting look at creative process of writing music as individuals and with others, and it is clear that these authors feel the power in music, and they express those feelings and magic on the page. Also liked their look at motivations: that it was not solely about ego and fame, but rather artistic expression. The backstory thread to the whole book was also artists in music industry having to deal with the uncertainty of success, and the lack of control in their careers amidst the challenge of celebrity and intense media scrutiny.
Very, very impressed with adult mature conscious conversations prior to menage sexual intimacy to ensure clarity about expectations and consent before they started on a non-vanilla sexual adventure that was new in some aspect for each of them.
Rating: 4.5 Stars (not 5) because of Big Heartbreaking Development in the final chapter - many tears and lots of angst at the end of this one...sort of cliff-hanger development at end that had me heartbroken and sad for a couple of days after I finished..Next book can't come too soon to see how this develops…
Whew!! I think I need a cold shower after this. Cari Quin and Taryn Elliott sure know how to give you a smoking hot rock romance. We got a glimpse of Molly in the previous books and I knew she came across as extremely tough so I wasn’t sure what would come in this book. I should have never have doubted that she would be a character that I could fall in love with. It’s great to see a tough woman who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to sacrifice to get it.
Now for the fireworks, and oh my do we get them!! We have that hot bad boy rocker, Luc, who is blindsided by his band and the professor, Ethan. Could these two be even more different…that is minus the hot bodies these boys have. Why wouldn’t Molly love this little threesome?!
There is a lot going on in this installment of the bandmates in Found in Oblivion and these authors sure know how to bring out the best and the hottest from these hard rockers we love to read about.
I received this book as an ARC for a freely given and honest review.
Omg this rocked out of the park! The amazing sex scenes aside (and holy crap are there some fantastic sex scenes!), the story was incredible. The emotion and drama draw you throughout the story. I love the connection between Ethan, Luc and Molly. They are a strong unit and it really looks like they will need it.
The revitalization of Warning Sign is an incredible journey. It has only just begin and I can't wait for more. The band as a whole has grown and I'm thinking we are in for a wicked ride.
To leave a reader raw at the end of a story. And I mean raw. I haven't felt this shredded from a story in, well, ever! Unheard of, but boy this dynamic duo just needed to change it up. I eagerly await the next in the series I sure hope they are working on it now I don't know that I have it in me to wait too long.
Wow, wow, wow!!! Where does one begin?!?! Absolutely amazing ladies!!! Loved these characters so very much! Honestly reading the earlier books I was never really a fan of Molly...totally different feeling after reading this book. The sex, well it's hot and off the charts. You might want to read it in private...haha. Such awesome characters, with great personalities. Characters you fall in love with yet again. A real twist for these authors, heartbreak and tears, to the extreme. As sad as I am, it doesn't diminish the great story. Just makes it more real. Another winner for these ladies. Thank you and keep them coming. Looking forward to the next installment!
