I won’t deny that Sarah Knight has a humourus and light hearted approach to the subject. As a self help book this is very down to earth; however, this may not be as helpful for people with clinical anxiety. I’m sure the tips provided in this audiobook help many people who have general anxiety, but were not helpful for someone who is unable to “categorize” issues rationally because of severe anxiety. The book also repeats itself often which the writer acknowledges, without offering much more. Unfortunately, this book did not help me much, and now I’m out 25 dollars.
This is the best anxiety self help out there. Let’s be honest.. most self helps are like reading a textbook.. filled with statistical fact and words most of us don’t understand.. this is like getting advice from your best friend while sitting on the couch drinking tea. And her advice? Actually helpful! Worth every penny!
