This book is amazing! Just FYI nothing else will get done once you start reading this book, you will be hooked. The Second instalment in this series and 100% did not disappoint! I would highly reccoment this series. I will be impatiently waiting for the 3 book to come out in December.
This book had so much happening in it that it seems like my brain can not keep up properly.
I mentioned in my review of the first book how in love I am with Emma Jean’s character. She’s so strong, but this book just made me so sad for her. All the times at the beginning, and then again at the end. I thought for sure when he stuck his guys on her, that would be when Grim would have made it back to her. She’s so strong. She showed reactions to her treatment when she was rescued the first time, and I look forward to book 3 when this conversation happens again with her and Grim. On that note, even though Grim helped to get her out, she almost saved herself by using her lying and tying skills.
Oh, Grim. My heart just is with him through all this. He is the ideal angsty character we all love and this book just shows more of that; while he is processing and dealing with all that went down for Emma Jean. We needs to kill Marco though.
My hate for Marco is way past 100% and the author does such a fantastic job of creating a believable villain.
And an even better job by creating a confusing character. I don’t know what to think of Gabby; how to process it all. She’s clearly threatened by Marco, but to what extent because sometimes...I hope it’s all cleared up soon.
Onto book 3! This series is amazing and addictive.
This was a great second instalment and one I have been highly anticipating since the events that transpired in the previous book: I was also on pins to see if my previous hunch regarding certain actions was in any way correct and yay I'm pleased to say that it was. Here we are back again with Grim and Tricks and Possession itself is just as Dark and gritty as its predecessor throwing me right back into the fantastical and imaginative world of Bedlam. I read this through in one complete sitting and its safe to say I'm now gagging to get my grabby mitts on that final piece of the puzzle: and woah! that glimpse into Permission I don't mind admitting has freaked me out and worried me slightly: what a tantaliser that was folks. Possession also treats us as an added bonus to some familiar faces which was also a big plus in its favour. This is a series that I recommend highly: it just has so much to offer in terms of originality and charm and though rather dark in some places its one that also compels me to continue in anticipation of a lighter eventual outcome for Grim and Emma. I voluntary reviewed an Arc of Possession (Perversion Trilogy, #2). All opinions expressed here are entirely my own.
Possession by T.M. Frazier is the second book in her Perversion Trilogy . In true Frazier fashion, this book has ALL the dark and twisty you could ever hope for. Gangs, tragic childhood, violence, scars, lies, deceit, betrayal. The connection between the characters is bittersweet. Picking up where book one, Perversion, left off and told in dual POV this book is even more intense than book one, taking us from abuse and betrayal within the walls of Los Muertas to a massive setup in Bedlam. Well-written and well-paced, be prepared to meet your dark side in this one. Possession will keep you flipping page after page to see just exactly what could happen next because, in Lacking, nothing is off limits! Enjoy!
For the sake of not providing any spoilers this review will stop here :-D
Possession, the second installment of the Perversion Trilogy, is just as dark and twisty as the previous installment. It picked up right where the first book left off. It was intense, gritty and fast paced. I devoured the book in one sitting and I was breathlessly shocked by every surprise and unexpected turn.
