What a wonderful job the author,Janette Oke, does to explore this very timely topic of aging in today's society and how it affects not only the elderly, but also their family members. It is sensitively written and heartwarming as well as eye-opening for all! A quick read... but a long lasting impression it leaves. Its a must for all of all ages! Should be a MUST read for all care providers!!!!

I lost my copy. This is a replacement. I have used it to teach nursing assistants and recommend it for anyone who knows someone in a nursing or assisted living facility.

Although the grandson doesn't understand why grandma isn't living at her house, he knows her heart. All grown-ups can learn from him.
