Another in a long line of pseudo-spiritual "feel good" type self-help books. While better than most, the common theme it to exploit individual's difficulties, citing what we really need is "spirituality"...
Maybe, or maybe not, but much of the book is really about common sense approaches mental health wrapped in spiritual jargin. The rest of the book gets into abstract new age-type concepts that are again, meant to make us feel good; to lessen our fears of death, being alone, chaos, meaninglessness, etc.
At least religions tend to avoid the strictly feel-good approach of this type of pop-spirituality book. There are many better Christian, Jewish, Bhuddist, Muslim based books that, while more challenging and less "feel good", at least have a solid tradition and belief system behind them - like them or not.
Wishy washy new age nonsense causes more suffering than it remedies.
