HASH(0xa3bb87d4) out of 5 stars Problems with the book Les Secrets du Genocide Rwandais Dec 21 2011
By Anna - Published on
Format: Paperback
I read this book and looked carefully at the documents it includes as proofs. I also have reviewed a large number of facsimiles and photographs from the document record of the genocide. Among the documents from the genocide are a number of fakes produced by forgers working for the team that directed in the genocide. This book's illustrations include several probable fakes very similar to others that have been published. Also, writing of parts of the text of the book resembles those in books produced by the forgers, which include uncritical, ad hominem statements. To serious readers who read French: I'd say don't trust this book. Read instead books like Jean-Paul Kimonyo's, Rwanda: Un Genocide Populaire. That book is very careful and documents its statements very clearly.
